Following much speculation, ASUS has finally unveiled its next generation of gaming smartphones as part of the ROG Phone series in a launch event earlier today.

The popular hardware manufacturers revealed two new phones as part of its gaming series in the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.

Front Camera: 12MP SONY IMX663 sensor

Rear Camera: 50MP SONY IMX766 main sensor + 13MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro camera

For the ultimate gaming experience, the ROG Phone 6 range of phones includes ASUS' AirTrigger 6, which has been upgraded tremendously with new features such as Dual Action, Press and Lift, and Gyroscope Aiming.

Along with the various control options, the immersive experience continues to improve with the GameFX audio system, which comes with seven-magnet dual speakers, with the sound being optimized with the help of Swedish audio company, Dirac.

Along with the ridiculous specs, the ROG 6 series of gaming phones can even use a fair share of accessories that will help players at being the best. This includes the ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad, which transforms the gaming phone into a portable console.

Other than that, there's also the new ROG AeroActive Cooler 6 that helps tremendously with cooling, while the rest of the components work at the highest power possible. According to ASUS, it has an AI-powered thermoelectric cooler and fan that provides cooled air to the back of the phone. Additionally, it also includes four extra physical buttons as well, for players to introduce new inputs in their favorite games.

With high-end specifications, players will have no qualms about the gaming experience on the ROG Phone 6 or the ROG Phone 6 Pro. However, this experience will come at a premium, as both variants of the phone aren't cheap.

While the ASUS ROG Phone 6, which comes with 12GB internal memory and 256GB of storage will cost Rs. 71,999, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Pro with 18GB internal memory and 512GB of storage will be priced at Rs. 89.999. The ROG Phone 6 will available in Phantom Black and Storm White, and the Phone 6 Pro will be exclusively sold in Storm White.

While the event showcased every possible detail about the phone, ASUS withheld any information about its release date. However, information about its release and purchasing options will be revealed by the company soon.
